Jean Barthet (In the 1950s) established himself in the world of fashion and became the official Parisian milliner of famous figures: Josephine Baker, Brigitte Bardot, Maria Callas, Liz Taylor, Jackie Kennedy, Grace Kelly, Leslie Carron, Rita Hayworth, Garbo, Michael Jackson, Isabelle Adjani, Sophie Marceau… His artistic expression was boundless and photography was his passion; he photographed cities and landscapes, and made portraits of children and celebrities: Brigitte Bardot, Sophia Loren, Avedon, Maurice Chevalier, Arthur Rubinstein...
